About
Sigrid Weber is an Assistant Professor in International Relations and Political Science at the School of Politics, Economics and Global Affairs at IE University Madrid and a former postdoctoral fellow in the Migration and Development Initiative at the Immigration Policy Lab. Her research focuses on the specific challenges of displaced persons in developing countries, such as insecurity and unsustainable livelihoods but also citizen and property rights. Sigrid received her PhD in Political Science at University College London, studying internal displacement and conflict dynamics in the Middle East. She holds an MSc in Security Studies from University College London and a BA in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Konstanz.
