Empowering Users – We create tools that augment, rather than replace, human decision-making. While our algorithms process complex data to generate insights, the final decisions always rest with a human decisions-maker. This approach leverages both AI’s analytical power and human expertise.

Participatory Design – We build our tools with the communities we serve. Through in-depth interviews with immigrants and regular feedback sessions with caseworkers, we ensure GeoMatch addresses real needs and lived experiences. By maintaining ongoing dialogue with users and beneficiaries, we continually bring in diverse perspectives and mitigate potential biases during development.

Maintaining Data Integrity – Protecting sensitive information is fundamental to our work. We adhere to rigorous data security protocols to prevent unauthorized access or misuse by third parties.  We regularly monitor data quality and model performance to ensure our recommendations are reliable and accurate.

Understanding our Impact – Impact measurement is central to our responsible AI approach. We’ve built systems to continuously evaluate how GeoMatch affects different immigrant populations, allowing us to adjust our algorithms to prevent bias and ensure fairness across groups. Through randomized controlled trials and regular performance monitoring, we work closely with our partners to ensure GeoMatch delivers its intended benefits while avoiding unintended consequences.
